Gooooose
GOOOOOSE is one of Han Han’s aliases. His multi-instrumental approach of making music usually leads the audience into a place where club beats, ambient soundscape, heavily synthesized texture and syncopated rhythms find their harmony. Apart from making music, Han Han is also avisual artist and software developer.
Since 2012, Han Han started to perform in various venues around the globe, such as CTM and HKW(Berlin), Nyege Nyege (Uganda), Soft Centre (Sydney), Unsound (Krakow) and Recombinant (San Francisco) and Cite De LaMusique (Paris).
He also started to compose music for artists, fashion brands and film since 2017, such as Asian Dope Boys party, full audio-visual live performance for Zhang Ding’s“Vortex”, composing music pieces for Andrey Boleslavsky’s VR works at CAC art center, for fashion designer Zhang Da (Boundless), Wang Hao Min (Zuczug,WHM), Cough In Vain, Wieden& Kennedy and NIKE and many more.
In the same year, he released debut full length album “They” using his modular system and received positive reviews from several places such as Music Magazine Japan. His related artwork “THEY2.0” was later exhibited in Goethe Institute in Beijing798 in 2018.
At the beginning of 2019, he released “Pro Rata”EP under Belgium label Ante-Rasaand album “Rusted Silicon” under SVBKVLT shanghai, received positive reviews from Boomkat, Resident Advisor and Dusted Magazine. He was later interviewed by The Wire magazine August issue. In 2020, Gooooose and 33EMYBW co-composed the soundtrack for UK artist Weirdcore’s exhibition “Orient Flux” at Beijing SKP-S, they later co-released album “Trans Aeon Express” in 2022. His latest full length album is “Rudiments” under SVBKVLT, released Jul 26th 2023
