Equiknoxx Music are a production outfit from Kingston, Jamaica, consisting of Gavsborg, Time Cow, Shanique Marie, Bobby Blackbird & Kemikal. Operating more than (10) years. They have worked with artists such as Aidonia, Beenie Man, Masicka, Spice et al. In July 2016 they released their debut album, “Bird Sound Power” parsed and pieced together by Jon K & Demdike Stare, and now thanks to link ups via Swing Ting’s Balraj Samrai (a longtime “livicated” supporter), it is issued on Demdike’s DDS imprint, replete with Jon K’s sleeve design. Their second album “Colón Man” was released in 2017 also on DDS.

In the summer of 2019, they self released their third opus, ‘Eternal Children’, which is still firmly rooted in their singular off kilter dancehall sound but with a range broader than anything they have previously released. It’s also their first vocal outing with Shanique Marie, Booby Blackbird and Kemikal all gracing us with their voices.

Following this, a string of releases came throughout the lockdown months, including the incendiary ‘Basic Tools Mixtape’ as well as the ‘Equiknoxx Meets Feel Free Hi Fi' mixtape - both of which have featured in the end of year lists for 2021.

Equiknoxx are available for Live, DJ and Hybrid shows.
